Peter is the Founder and Managing Partner of Vinalhaven Capital. Vinalhaven does investing and advisory within the infrastructure sector with a focus on energy transition, climate tech, waste to energy and transport/logistics. Prior to Vinalhaven, Peter was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, working within Goldman Sach’s Asset Management group for over 25 years. Peter was a member of the team that founded the infrastructure investment arm in 2006, working on various funds with over $16b+ AUM in aggregate. Peter was the Global Head of Debt Capital Markets for the Infrastructure fund. The global portfolio spanned North American, Europe, Japan, India and Latin America.
Mr. Vermette is a board member and the Treasurer for The Marine Raider Foundation and is also a passionate mentor to veterans transitioning from the military into their post military career. He holds a BS from Bryant University.
